Celebrating Nearly 40 years
March 1972 - March 2012
The Holly Branch is one of two branches in Delaware of a 501(c)(3) national corporation, The National League of American Pen Women. Our mission is to encourage, recognize and promote the production of creative work of professional standard in visual arts, writing and music of women.
We conduct public meetings, lectures, workshops, contests and exhibitions at various venues throughout Delaware to explore, share and promote professional talents in bringing greater awareness of the value of the arts throughout our area.
Meetings are held regularly with programs on topics of interest to
artists, writers and composers.
Although our Branches have no borders, The Holly Branch extends from Kent County Delaware west to our sister branch in Chestertown, Md, north to our sister Branch (Diamond State) in New Castle County and Southern PA. Our closest branch south is the Chesapeake Branch in the Virginia Beach/Williamsburg area.
